My dancing career  lasted about 15 years.

Sewing is another story.  I can't remember when I wasn't making something.

My first leather handbag was made to carry pens and a note pad for all those homework assignments in junior high.

Leather has its challenges, but there is nothing like it.

The first fringe bag was made as a way to get rid of all the leather scraps I had in my studio.  Then, while walking around town, women kept stopping me to admire the bag and find out where they could buy one, for they just had to have it.

So they got one.

One day I  gave an art show a try and I was hooked.
